Set a Credit Limit (maximum outstanding) and Credit Day(s) (allowed days to pay) on a customer. A sale that would breach the limit is blocked at save.

Customer par ek Credit Limit (adhiktam outstanding) aur Credit Day(s) (paying ke liye allowed din) set karein. Jo sale limit todegi wo save par block ho jaati hai.

Controls credit risk automatically at the billing counter, instead of relying on memory.Yaad par bharosa karne ke bajaye, billing counter par apne aap credit risk control karta hai.

In detail

Set on the customer's Ledger (the boxes appear in the Enterprise / Standard editions); enforcement is switched on with the Control Room feature ‘Credit Limit Required’.

Key points

Credit Limit — maximum allowed outstanding balance. With ‘Credit Limit Required’ = Yes, a sale that would breach it is blocked with the message “Credit Limit Exceeds.” — there is no warn-and-continue.
Credit Day(s) — the days the party is allowed to pay, kept on the ledger for reference.
A per-user right Check Cr. Limit also exists on the User screen.

Customer ke Ledger par set kiya jaata hai (ye boxes Enterprise / Standard editions mein dikhte hain); enforcement Control Room feature ‘Credit Limit Required’ se on hoti hai.
