Negative-stock control decides whether a sale can go through when stock would drop below zero — allowed, blocked, or allowed after a warning. It is set per user.

In detail

A per-user right — Administration tab → User → open the user → ‘Negative Stock Billing’, with three values:

Key points

Not Allowed — the sale is refused with “(item) Negative Stock Billing not Allowed” until stock is available.
Warning — the user is asked “Some Item have Negative Stock? Do you want to Continue?” and can choose to proceed.
Allowed — the sale posts and the item shows a negative quantity until a purchase catches up.
The Negative Stock report (Inventory tab) lists items currently below zero.

Tip

Because it's per user, two people on the same company can behave differently — “it blocks only on my login” means check the User screen, not the Control Room.
