Discount rules apply rebates automatically during billing — by item or item group, by customer or customer group, and above a quantity threshold. No need to type the discount on every bill.

Discount rules are set on the Party Discount screen (List tab → Product → Party Discount).

Key points
  • Scope a rule by item / item-group and/or ledger / ledger-group, with a Quantity threshold.
  • Each rule can set up to three rebates (Rebate 1 / 2 / 3) plus Rebate After Tax for post-tax discounts.
  • The on-screen rebate box names are set in the Control Room (‘Rebate1 Name’ etc.) — so a customer may see e.g. ‘Scheme’ instead of ‘Rebate 1’.
Watch out
If an expected discount isn't applying, check a rule actually matches the invoice (right item/party/group) and the quantity threshold was met.

Discount rules Party Discount screen पर सेट होते हैं (List tab → Product → Party Discount)।

मुख्य बातें
  • किसी rule का दायरा item / item-group और/या ledger / ledger-group से तय करें, साथ में एक Quantity threshold।
  • हर rule तीन तक rebates सेट कर सकता है (Rebate 1 / 2 / 3) साथ ही post-tax discounts के लिए Rebate After Tax।
  • screen पर rebate box के नाम Control Room में सेट होते हैं (‘Rebate1 Name’ आदि) — इसलिए किसी customer को ‘Rebate 1’ की जगह मसलन ‘Scheme’ दिख सकता है।
ध्यान दें
अगर कोई अपेक्षित discount नहीं लग रहा, तो जाँचें कि कोई rule सचमुच invoice से मेल खाता है (सही item/party/group) और quantity threshold पूरा हुआ था।
